The Donnybrook Writing Academy

The pirate party was pretty fun, even though the crowd was split between Eyes and Ears fans – unaware that it was anything besides CD release party – and a cluster of drunk, sword-fighting rowdy pirates. It was a little random. In fact a few people showed up in full pirate gear a bit early, only to be told there was no pirate party at the Hi-Dive. I bet they felt silly (we’re sorry). Luckily our merry gang of pirates came to join them in due time.

All the bands were completely kick ass: Nicotine Fits, Red Orange Yellow, Vile Blue Shades (with a sexy lady dancer), and Eyes and Ears. There was even a mosh pit! Yarrrrr!

So Nina Barry and 28 Deep took such fabulous photos of this party, I couldn’t help but include way too many. The ones that say “Laurie Scavo” are 28 Deep’s and the rest are Nina Barry’s. I promise that if you scroll to the end, you’ll sort of see boobies!!!
