16 Bands We Knew About Way Before the CMJ Festival

Dear CMJ Festival,

You’re welcome.

We know how tough it is for you to find “bands” to play your “festival” – if only there were some organization measuring a band’s popularity on college radio or something to point you in the right direction – so we don’t mind if you rely on us to turn you on to the “hot tracks.”

Oh, you think we should check out James Pants? NEWSFLASH: We though of it first. And if you don’t believe us, we have proof. And we’ve laid that proof out in an easy-to-navigate table for your viewing pleasure; our table of proof which you can SEE, HEAR, and even FUCK. You’ll see what I mean in a second…

And there are several other CMJ bands we’ve been recommending to our friends that we can’t prove at this moment in time. We’ll give it to you this time, CMJ…

Love,

P.S.- here’s a “CMJ chart” of our own illustrating our point
