Day Two

Once upon a time, approximateIy one month ago, I was having a spirited discussion with my boyfriend about how many band T-shirts I actually own. He told me that I had so many, I could wear a different one every day for a year. I disagreed, so we decided to finally figure it out, once and for all. Highly scientific calculations ensued, and it was determined that there are around 180. Only half a year’s worth (see, that’s not a crazy amount…right?). Somehow, this all led to the idea of me wearing a different T-shirt every day for a month (or 30 days).

This Modest Mouse T-shirt is limited-edition. Sometimes, it takes actually writing about owning a limited-edition band T-shirt to make you realize how much of a music nerd you are. And how gullible. I mean, aren’t all T-shirts technically limited-edition? There has to be a finite number of pretty much every T-shirt ever made, music-related or otherwise, right? Even if that number is, like, two hundred billion or something.

The shirt is actually pretty cool, though. It has a fabric patch signed by the artist (Houston) hand-sewn inside the back collar with adorable pink thread, right where the annoying itchy tag would usually be (you may be able to see some of the pink thread in the detail pic of the back if you look really close). I think it’s dry-clean only, though. That definitely sucks for a broke music nerd like me
