The Finale

Once upon a time, approximateIy one month ago, I was having a spirited discussion with my boyfriend about how many band T-shirts I actually own. He told me that I had so many, I could wear a different one every day for a year. I disagreed, so we decided to finally figure it out, once and for all. Highly scientific calculations ensued, and it was determined that there are around 180. Only half a year’s worth (see, that’s not a crazy amount…right?). Somehow, this all led to the idea of me wearing a different T-shirt every day for a month (or 30 days).

The big finale! Since I am moving to Denver soon, I decided to end this project with a T-shirt from my all-time favorite band from Fort Collins, Colorado: Matson Jones. Sadly, this quartet fronted by two female cello players is no longer together. I really thought that they were going to do great things, but after selling out a few shows at the Aggie Theatre and putting out one amazing full-length and a couple of EPs, they called it quits. Maybe this blog post will encourage them to get back together? I can only wish…Anna Mascorella, Martina Grbac, Matt Regan and Ross Harada, I am talking to you! Update: OMG, I just found the band’s facebook page and it looks like they ARE getting back together! The power of Donnybrook is real! I also wish for a bigger closet for all my T-shirts, and to be able to grow basil successfully, and for the air conditioner to work in my car again. Thanks to everyone for reading! Look out Denver, here I come!
