A Summary of ALL THE GODDAMNED PARTIES This Week

There is so much  goddamned champagne to be drank and fun to be had, I just can’t keep it all straight. We haven’t even BEGUN to delve into the sex parties that we all know are happening. And besides the kickoff, we haven’t even really approached the film festival, and don’t get me started when that rolls around – those after hours bashes will make you wake up in weird places with weirder people.

It’s hard being us. We’re starting a support group called Donnybrook Social Club, where we can all drown our sorrows about having too much fun by planning more parties with champagne. Champagne and accordion parties, like the good old days.

Until then:

October 26th is Yelpapalooza 3.0, which is basically a party that has all of our favorite things. It’s free with a suggested donation of $5 that goes to Flobots.org. Even though it’s a “free”ish event, we’re giving away two spots at the fancy-pantsy Elite Happy Hour before the party. We’ll be there schmoozin’! Just email me – GoDonnybrook@Gmail.com – if you want the Elite spots. I could make you answer a dumb trivia question, but we’re all adults here.

October 28th: We have the Halloween Hootenany at the Bluebird, where the costume contest winner gets an entire year of free shows at the Bluebird; we have the Rot Congress scary Halloween party at Skylark; and we have this new party I just found out about, the RedLine Artist Bacchanal with a GOLD theme, which I’m feeling lately in my blog posts (and will be posting about again next week). Wearing bling and gold-encrusted shit is encouraged. How did I just find out about this?

October 29th: Then we have both the secret speakeasy party by The Painted Muse, and Denver Does CBGBs. If you’re going to the speakeasy party, email me about a possible party bus situation (which is also the name of my next band).
