Profundity

Written by  //  March 15, 2011  //  Before We Were Cool  //  3 Comments

Histrionic diary entries, angsty yearbook scrawlings, and really bad poetry brought back from teenagerhood and the other side of cool. Dates may be omitted and names may have been changed, but rest assured these are legit.

Diary Entry from 2001 (17 yrs old)

I drew a picture that lets me know how I’m feeling. If I want to deeply see what I’m feeling, all I hafta do is pick up a pencil and not even think about it. I’m not saying my artwork is a messenger for God for everyone, but it is for me. Kind of like an angel. Just like music, and people, and situations…they’re all angels to me.

This is my new favorite feature on the interweb!

OMG I’m glad you like it! It was one of those ideas a few of us thought would be really hilarious, and then we weren’t sure if ANYONE was reading them. I guess we have a stats reporter, but we are wayyyy too lazy to look at those sorts of things.

I had never stopped to think about it before, but yes–situations are like angels!
