Donnybrook is pretty zazzed to be covering the 5th Annual Hair Show and 3rd Annual Denver Fashion Weekend, now smooshed together for the first time into one glorious event produced by 303 Magazine. At the Exdo Events Center starting this Thursday, there will be “unique runway events each night” through Saturday night with official after parties at the JET Hotel, so you can get drunk, snag a model, and bring her back to your hotel room without even having to leave the building. That’ll probably happen for you.
Donnybrook has been getting lessons from Anna Wintour on sitting in the front row wearing sunglasses and looking bitchy, so expect to see us there. Check out the ticket info at the bottom!
DENVER FASHION WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Thursday, October 13, 8 pm – 11 pm
- Denver’s top personal stylist Candice Goins will launch her private shopping boutique, Candies Closet, with a runway presentation featuring current and vintage designer labels including Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Dior, Halston Heritage, Versace, and Alexander Wang
- Hair by Scarlet Salon and make-up by Jade from Gordon’s on Sixth
Friday, October 14, 8 pm – 11 pm
- Five of Denver’s contemporary boutiques – A.Line Boutique, Barbara and Company, Goldyn, PJ’s Boutique, and Sous le Lit will present 15 looks from designers including Bailey 44, BB Dakota, Blaque Label, Dear Dorothy, Helmut Lang, McQ by Alexander McQueen, Rag & Bone, See by Chloe, and Stop Staring
- Hair by The Blowdry Lounge, make-up by Katelyn Simkins, and nails courtesy of Tootsies the Nail Shoppe
