How strange is it that the best things in life are free nowadays? How strange is it that I actually like this music?
Twin Sister recently came into my life in technicolor, and I loved their E.P. “Vampires with Dreaming Kids” so much I emailed them and *literally* told them I wanted to have their babies. And they *actually* emailed me back. Stay tuned for the upcoming interview; but I just can’t hold onto this link for long. Go here, download now. Thanks.

Also check out this adorable video which shows they have funny t-shirts, wigs, and they are younger and cuter than me. Are they trying to kill me with greatness?
And secondly, another batch of great music was delivered to my inbox today: the latest edition of a Dayton-based “download initiative” Fortune Rumors featuring Smug Brothers, Fictionband and The Buddha Den playing “the distinctive SMUG brand of hook-heavy pop rock for the short-attention-span-set” – i.e., for bloggers such as myself, who mostly paste the press release into a blog like this:
“According to John Wenzel of The Denver Post, the E.P. series ‘continues the band’s juicy, mid-fi mix of dense power-pop and indie rock. Think a less elfin, more propulsive Tobin Sprout fronting a late ’90s Merge band and you’re close. … Download both EPs … just be careful, this is some catchy-ass stuff.’”
Whoever doesn’t listen to John Wenzel is banned from the manor.
