Boulder-based Forged in Violet is playing the first show since they last played in Oct of 2007. They experiment with the modern rock experience with aspects of electronica, resulting in a hybrid a la Depeche Mode or New Order. Plus, I hear they sometimes have pretty lady dancers on stage.
