Notorious barn-burners, the Lurleens, are breaking through their fog of methamphetamines and old-folks’ home groupies to reunite for one night and one night only

Donnybrook was just deemed Best Blog by Westword. Couldn’t the general public have figured out how cool we were in the late ’70s? when we were shrugging off culture with Gang of Four, had tighter pants, didn’t have cocaine habits, and weren’t hoary and mainstream yet

It’s a gigantic and crazy fucking snowstorm; perhaps God enjoys metaphors
