I/O (a film by Theos De Dos Dias)

It’s an annual summer event that I take part in the 48 Hour Film project. And this year we really had a small group. We tried to write a script that would involve a lot of people and make the whole weekend like a big party for all our friends, but during the writing process we realized that our film was just about one guy and to add anything else would take away from the story and end cheating the audience. So, we set out to make a Sci-Fi film two weekends ago. Last weekend we screened the film at The Gothic where we had an extremely supportive crowd, Thanks to everyone who showed up, and we ended up winning the audience award for our group.

I’m really proud of the product we put together in only two days and I think it was the best thing I’ve ever had a chance to work on. As I said before, our genre was Sci-Fi, our prop was a Lamp, the line of dialogue was “He told me not to tell anyone.” and the character was Sharon Jones Administrative Assistant.

Here is a link to our film on youtube. I’ve been told it looks it’s best when you adjust the setting to 720p and watch it in full screen, but it might take longer to load. I hope you enjoy our little film, and if you get a chance, the Best of Denver Screening is September 11th at the Starz Film Center.

Thanks for watching and thanks for the support.
