Have I mentioned how nice it is to have R.E.M. around again? Accelerate has been heralded as a return to form and is just a generally fun record. Stipe & Co. have just released music video number two from the album, the special effectstacular clip for “Hollow Man.” My favorite part of the song is the sentimental misdirection at the beginning, all longing piano and heartache vocals that give way to those familiar jangly guitars and the full backbeat.
