I’ve been metaphorically and actually sitting on my hands at times in anticipation of this event. Yes my lovelies, it’s May 4^th – the official kick-off date for nerds around the world to celebrate their christmas, International Star Wars Day.

As we speak, our writers are getting ready for a Manse-wide Star Wars slumber party – the ‘78 Holiday Special is on a constant loop, I’m bringing my ‘96 Interactive Video and my ‘77 Escape from the Death Star Board Games (yes, I do actually have those, and yes, I’m very proud)… and pizza. Lots of pizza. With soda. No, I don’t call it pop.

I’m digressing. We’re turning May into a site-wide Star Wars takeover, so come back all month for way-too-deep-for-our-own-good examinations of the saga by your humbly elitist -can those two exist together?
