You don’t have to be a skinny-mini itty-bitty Olsen twin to enjoy Rachel Zoe’s newest collection. Although Zoe may make you want to throw a big greasy burg her way, it is evident that she took into consideration the wants and needs of your average-sized chick. Like me! Although Rachel made her break into the world of fashion design last fall, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that she has launched a second spring collection. Rachel Zoe’s Resort collection is perfect for the fashion-forward professional woman who does not wish to wear fugly clogs and a skort to work. It’s also ideal for the classy partier: her tops and shorts are something you would want to pick up if you do not wish to be mistaken for Snooki.

Her spring collection includes some super excellent costume jewelry and cold weather gear. And there’s some gorgeous clean-cut blazers! Zoe also gives the middle finger to the long-standing rule, do not wear white after Labor Day. Hats off to that! The collection’s white dresses are ethereal and perfect for spring, just do not wear such a dress to the next wedding you attend. Zoe’s suits and individual pieces incorporate clean lines and are perfectly tailored so you do not look like a cardboard box. Available at Neiman Marcus, Kirna Zabete and Nordstrom, this collection is selling like hot cakes.

I am sure Joey Maalouf, her wonderfully whimsical gay friend, had plenty of good insight to add to her designs. In the hopes that Zoe one day Googles her name and happens to read Donnybrook, I say: “Rachel, you rock. Thank you. Give Joey a kiss for me.”
