The Problem of Leisure…

This week’s Problem of Leisure is really an exercise in redundance, or shall we say, extremely strong promotion. We didn’t plan it this way, but apparently EVERYONE is going to the same party – it had better be a good one.

overcasters.jpgTwo from Truth:

This should be an excellent show and I am looking forward to it.

I’ve seen the new Overcasters t-shirts and stickers and they are awesome. You’ll want one. As of this writing there is no other way to hear the Overcasters than to get yourself out to the show and hear them. It’s cold outside but if you love it when the music is so huge you forget everything else, you’ll want to be there.

And as you see, the vast and enchanting sounds of Blue Million Miles and Sonnenblume will also be there for your musical pleasure.

It is a 16+ show.
Rock!

But then, if you are in Boulder instead, you might want to be at the Boulder Theatre on Friday. Ian Cooke with full band (including the fabulous Kelly O’Dea from Bad Luck City). This show will have lots of strings and is also a 16+ show. Pop!

Benjamin “Benny” St. Maur:

FM Magazine’s Launch Party on Friday night (2/8) at Cluster Studios, 3881 N. Steele St. Unit B. The toast of the social elite will definitely be in attendance. I mean, Hot Tony will be there. Who else do you need?

Ivyy says:

Ivyy will be running the Wash Park Valentine’s Day 5k race. Anyone waiting at the finish line with a donut and a cup of coffee for her will get to be her valentine. In the event of more than one person with a donut and/or coffee, the person with the tastiest and/or highest quantity of donut(s) and/or coffee(s) will be awarded the aforementioned prize of Ivyy’s Valentine Status.

Lastly, Angora says:

This isn’t till next Thursday, but it’s important enough to mention now:

All you need to know about Valentine’s Day.

Ivyy forgot to mention that her 5k race is on Sunday morning at 9:00. So you’ve got plenty of time to plan your donut-buying.
