This Really Cool Analogy…

Histrionic diary entries, angsty yearbook scrawlings, and really bad poetry brought back from teenagerhood and the other side of cool. Dates may be omitted and names may have been changed, but rest assured these are legit.
Diary Entry, October, 19th, 1997- 19 years old
“I thought of a really cool analogy this afternoon, and I wanted to write it down before I forget it…
Fitting into my life here in New York is like trying to put on a really tight latex dress. I know it fits because it’s so obviously my size and looks like it will look great on me, but putting it on for the first time is a difficult and frustrating process. Once I do get it on, though, I’ll be ready to go.”
Uh, what? Latex dress? New York? U R Weird.
