Get ready to pee your pants from laughing this Saturday Night @ Hornet 11pm – 1am.

The local comedy scene in Denver has exploded over the last few years, like Seattle and those grunge bands in the 90s. The GRAWLIX  guys (Adam Cayton-Holland, Ben Roy & Andrew Orvedahl)  are a big driving force behind the scene’s rise with their monthly show & numerous bookings around the city.  The fellas are putting on a two-day, multi-venue comedy showcase next month High Plains Comedy Festival (HPCF). The fest will showcase the ridiculous amount of local talent as well as a plethora of nationally-touring comics such as eggie Watts, Kyle Kinane, Rory Scovel, Kurt Branholer, Matt Braugner and Howard Kremer to name just a few.

Fans at the UMS  are getting a sweet comedy  teaser  on Saturday July 20th @ The Hornet (1st & Broadway) from 11pm – 1am. If it’s anything like last year’s comedy showcase at the Mayan during UMS 2012 then folks will be in for a treat.

Here’s the lineup of comics performing at the UMS showcase:

Adam Cayton-Holland

Ben Roy

The Fine Gentleman’s Club – Sam Tallent, Bobby Crane, Nathan Lund and Chris Charpentier

Kristin Rand

Troy Walker

Jordan Doll

Jim Hickox

After you are burnt out from live tunes all day on Saturday, slide down for a dose of the funny.
