Check out this exclusive video of Air Dubai performing their hit song, “Lights Down,” in an intimate rehearsal setting! The band’s music was recently featured on multiple episodes of MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” and they are gearing up for a run of Colorado dates with up-and-coming Chicago band Kids These Days, whose debut album is being produced by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. Air Dubai is a dynamic seven-piece hip-hop/pop group based in Denver, CO. With disparate musical backgrounds and indiscriminate influences, the young men of Air Dubai have truly created something new: a sound that’s all their own. Vocalists Julian Thomas and Jon Shockness founded the band in the summer of 2008 as a duo. In spring of 2009, instrumentalists Nick Spreigl, Lawrence Grivich, Michael Ray, Taylor Tait and Wesley Watkins joined the group, rounding out the current line-up and sound. Since then, Air Dubai has gone on to collect several major accolades, including Westword magazine’s 2010 Best New Hip-Hop Act award. The band’s debut studio album, Wonder Age, which spawned the breakout hit “Lasers,” was released in October of 2010, capitalizing on two years of anticipation built solely upon explosive live performances. Critically acclaimed and immensely popular, an Air Dubai show is a unique experience; a place where passion and soul collide with just plain having a good time. Air Dubai has shared the stage with such diverse artists as Rise Against, OneRepublic, Flobots, The Pharcyde, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Chiddy Bang, The Game, Mayer Hawthorne & The County, Rakim, Guru, People Under The Stairs, Sweatshop Union and Lyrics Born, among others.

And here’s another Air Dubai video for good measure:
